Mr. D Freeman
Welcome to 7th Grade Math

Welcome, parents and students, to Mr. Freeman’s 7th Grade Math class; where your success is my #1 priority. Our goal at Curtiss Middle School is to deliver quality education on a daily basis in alignment with California State Standards. 7th Grade Mathematics is designed to prepare students for the formal study of algebra, geometry, and advanced mathematical concepts. This course will give students insight, understanding, and mastery of pre-algebra concepts and is designed to address the California Mathematics Content Standards at the 7th grade level. Students will work towards proficiency in basic operations and problem-solving strategies, including fractions, decimals, statistics and probability. More information on these strands and the specific standards for 7th grade math can be found at the California Department of education website, www.cde.ca.gov/be/st/ss/mthgrade8.asp.
